Here we go again The only real advantage of a 331 over a 347 is that you do not have to notch the cilinder walls for the 331. Both the 331 and 347 will have the same life span, and oil control issues if machined and put together right. Maybe I'm just lucky I drive my car like I stole it and is uses no oil or there is no premature cilinder wall ware from the so called bad rod ratio.
