I assume that you mean the fuel line, flexible, next to the tank. Heck yeah if you thing it is OLD, replace it.
Now if you're talking about the steel line that runs from the rear to the front. I wouldn't change it unless it looks like a real rust bucket. To darn hard to change.
You can get a fairly inexpensive intake and carb from any of the major suppliers. Summit has them.
I'd keep it to a 650 cfm AFB or Holley. I prefer the AFB. No delicate power valve to flame out.
All the manufactores make intakes. Depends on what you want it to do.....and how much you want to spend.
