Yeah, i agree with what's basically already been said, the guy is full of BS and i know first hand alot of people that listen to those people don't argue because they (usually as well as the person telling what they have) don't know their @ss from their elbow.
I had an "acquaintance" who was so proud of his stock '84 Dodge Ramcharger and was going to make 500 horsepower by "boring it out" adding a big 4 barrel and dual exhaust, which as we all know Dodges run like pro stock cars even with very little mods
This is what i do since i hear people BS ALL THE TIME.....smile, nod, and say cool and then ignore them. That usually shuts them because they think you agree, but also shows that you're not interested and giving them attention.
I'm sorry you have to deal with idiots like that.
