If the starter was already experiencing problems, adding the heat wrap won't help. I would recommend an OEM replacement with the heat wrap applied. You can spend more on others, but I don't think it's necessary. For the best results, buy a new one from Ford, rather than a rebuilt one from someone else. A new one will cost more than a rebuilt, but it will last longer, too.
