Bowtie, if you want that switch to last longer you should either not run with your fog lights on all of the time or rewire the fog lights so they draw their power directly from the battery. I did the latter and it works great.
I rewired it so that the circuit that would normally power the fog lights will now power a relay for each light. I then have wires going from ground to the fog lights, the fog lights to the relay, and then the relay to the post where the positive battery terminal hooks to the starter relay. Everything works exactly the same as it did before except that it doesn't overheat anymore.
