Mike,
Let me think....hmmm...yeah...that's right. I think I slept once about 3 weeks ago. No wait...that was when I was knocked unconcious in a basketball game. Close enough, I guess.
Between school and work, I stay pretty busy. I think they've got us going in 17 hours of grad work right now...6 classes and two labs. Makes for some long days on occasion, but it's doable. This summer I'll be on my first clinical affiliation for about 6 weeks. I'll be working full-time (for free, mind you) in the VA here in Amarillo. We have one week off between the end of the spring term and the clinical, and then we have one week off after the clinical before we hit a six week summer micro-term. Then we'll have a whopping two weeks off before the start of the fall and the wonderful world of orthopaedics and differential diagnosis.
Right now I gotta run back up to the school to cram for a pharmacology test that's going to eat my lunch. The crazy thing is, we're expected to know more than the students in the pharmacology doctorate program! This test will cover over 350 pages in the text and 25 chapters. YIPPI!!!!
