Long-tube headers or not??
Ok, I have a mass-air '88 GT 306 with edelbrock Performer 5.0, tfs Twisted wedge heads, pullies, etc... Compression is around 10.3:1.
I use a 150 HP dry system, but the jets are tweaked, it's probably about 175. Comp cams is setting me up with a nitrous-specific camshaft. Anyways, I'm wondering if long-tubes will benefit my combination. Please note that I'm not concerned with losing a little on the motor, rather I want to gain as much as possible on the nitrous. And I'm planning to switch to the RPM upper intake as well so I can raise the shift points to around 6200.
