hello, I am thinking about buying an early 90's Mustang 5.0. I am on a limited budget. My husband has an 86 camaro with a built 350 and my goal is to get a car that will out run him in a 1/4 mi., he dislikes Mustangs, so that would just make it all the better! His car should be in the low 14 sec. range. What would I have to do with a Mustang to beat him? He thinks I should just get another camaro so that "I have a chance". How fast are these Mustangs stock and what would I have to do?
I am not an "experienced driver" but I have had a few races myself. Would it be easier for me to drive the auto or manual.
Please help I need to shut him up.
