I went with the 1.6 rockers because i figured if i wanted more lift i would use the cam. Plus I'd heard of people wrecking their springs like fiveohpatrol mentioned. It's a pretty simple install, but you'll need a conversion kit or have your heads machined to accept studs. I've heard they're good for like 25 hp, but I've never seen a dyno sheet or anything to prove it. When I put mine in on my stock heads i noticed a big difference, especially in the higher rpms. If your going to keep the stock heads i'd say go with the 1.7's and upgrade your springs, if you plan on aftermarket heads go with the 1.6's and use a bigger cam to increase lift. Just my .02
