Default AOD to T-5 conversion...

I am interested in all of th basic stuff How much would I be looking at? (I would liek all new high quality parts)

What would you get if you wanted something that could take some strain (ie: ~300-400 rwhp)? How much power can the Tremec or T-5Z take? Which is preferred? I have heard about people having problems with the tremec? Is that isolated to just the shifter?

Smooth and 'effortless' shifting would be a plus!

Would it be possible for me to do all or at least part of it? Anything else I should know? I really want a manual!

Thanks
