I'll second the mccreary tires, i just do a short second gear burnout and have got 60' time of 1.89. haven't driven them in the rain yet. I drive to the track and air them down to about 15-17 psi and go at it thern drive home, they don't handle as good as a radial but hook good and are cheap. they are a dirt track tire that is cheap and works good. i have mine mounted on a set of turbines and they measure just over 26" tall and between 8.5-9" of tread on the ground, no rubbing at all.
