I have driven in both n2o and blown mustangs and they are both similar in that the power isn't really there in "around town" driving. Yeah, the blower is "on" all the time but you really don't notice it until you go for a 4,000-5,800rpm blast down the local street. Of course, nitrous is only "on" when you're at WOT.
Although I have never driven in a 331 or 351W-based mustang, I would imagine that this would give the best of both worlds. Let's say you keep your current combo, save up for a couple years, and then get a nice 500hp all-motor 372 or 392 (351W-based stroker motor). Now you have (1) a fresh motor, (2) the same top end pull w/ the same (or higher mph in the 1/4), and most importantly (3) you have more bottom-end torque so the car mostly likely will feel faster at ALL rpms.
Just my $.02

A blower constitutes "just getting into the HP game"? Not likely...if any blower could be considered that, it would be a Powerjunk, and even that is debatable. I don't consider a nearly $2,000 bolt on an introductory part.
I say you keep the car the way it is, and buy a liter bike

JK! I agree with 514, wait for the double whammy! Or, build the 351 now, then when you have more money, FI it!
