Yeah, thats happened to me a time or two. I still get a kick out of it. If the car is sounding particularly loud on a certain day, I just shut it off right when I get to the speaker to save the time and hassle of them telling me to.
I even had one of the guys working the window at taco bell compliment me on my exhaust and ask what kind I had. That was pretty cool. My car does have an interesting sound considering I have one 3-chamber on the right side and just an open h-pipe on the left. Hopefully when I pull her out of storage, I can put a new h-pipe with dumps on and ditch the half-assed approach. Although, it does manage to sound good though. It has a real race car sound to it, but with some rumble too. I guess thats what happens with a cross-bred exhaust.
