read carefully.

do not listen to rice boys when they talk about modifying cars.

this can lead to desasterous consequences for you and your mustang.

now, back to real life.

resonators... there are two kinds of resonators, intake resonators, and exhaust resonators.

a 5.0L mustang does not have exhaust resonators.

a 5.0L mustang does have 1 resonator on the intake.

this resonator is hidden in the passenger side fenderwell BEHIND the airbox (air filter)..

if you remove this resonator, there will be a slightly louder sound when you hit the gas pedal wide open...

to remove the resonator simply dismantle the airbox, then remove the two screws that hold the other half to the fender.

then, remove the three or 4 small screws which hold the actual resonator (air horn) on the inside of the fender, when you are done removing the screws, pull the resonator out through the bottom of the fender.

then, put the air box back on, screw it in, put your air filter back on, then put the top of the air box back together and snap it in place. !!!

voila ! 5 HP , and a nice throaty sound !
