Yes. Not a huge benefit but it helps performance a bit as cooler intake air is always better.

Yes. Use flexible plastic pipe from a Home Depot-type store.

No.

You'll have to buy a K&N cone filter to stick on the end of the pipe as unfilterd air will screw up the MAF sensor as well as contaminate the engine. Just measure, buy the pipe, cut to fit, add the filter and you're golden. If you want it ready-made, Moroso sells a economical, ready-to-install kit (with a plastic intake pipe) for about $90.
