Default New parts/new times

If anybody's in about the same position I am as far as wondering what parts to add, here's what I found since the last trip to the track.
Last time I had a best of 9.36@75 with a 2.27 60' on street tires.
Added 3.73 gears (replaced the 2.73's), underdrive pulleys, Mickey Thompson's (called Big End Street Drag but look like the ET streets), and 76mm maf (replaced stock), set timing to 14. The bigger maf probably didn't help much now but I got it for future need.
Ran 8.78@79 with a 1.93 60' time.

All this got me .58 sec (.34 in 60') and 4 mph. Lower gears and sticky tires will do wonders for the short times. Anyway, before I start with swapping heads, I'm going to try to get it to run as fast as I can with the stock engine. I've got subframes ready to weld up. Next up, I believe I'll get some better lower control arms or traction bars and maybe some Lakewood 70/30 & 50/50 shocks.
Does this sound like a good plan? Any suggestions?
