Actually, I think that G-tech is supposed to be pretty accurate. However, the manner in which it runs its calculations is a little different than how it's done at your local track.
A while back there was a really good thread on the G-techs, how they work, how they differ from the tracks way of measurment, etc.
I've always like to compare track ET & MPH's with people. Some folks like to see that high MPH and equate that to a much lower ET than their car is capable of.
