Look up the Dallas chapter of the MCA(Mustang Club of America)
I'm sure there are plenty of other clubs in Dallas but the MCS would be a good place to start. The Austin chapter has events every month so I'm sure in a bigger city like Dallas, there is plenty going on. This is the link.
