They replace the lower control arms. You will need to drill holes in the control arm barckets that are welded to the axle. You will need a magnetic angle finder to measure the pinion angle of the axle and driveshaft. Make sure you have all parts (spacers) from whoever you order them from before you start the job. I had everything off and the lift bars half way on when I realized they didn't send me any spacers. The liftbars didn't help me that much, I have drag radials on too and I still have problems hooking on street. There are many pros that use them though, so I will stick with them and keep tuning.
