Bettman's position on the next deal with the Player's Association sounds as though we will have a salary cap in the NHL.

Me being another Oilers boy, and then missing the playoffs, leaves me to cheer for the Canucks. They're one of the hottest teams going into the playoffs and the Wings are the opposite. 2-0 now - hopefully it won't go more than 5 games. After that I like Phoenix in the West. In the East, if the Bruins don't go far I will be surprised, they are the highest scoring team in the NHL. I would like to see Ottawa make it past the first round for once but they're down a game already

If a Canadian team makes it to the finals I'll probably **** myself, but I don't really care cause the hometown guys aren't there
