Linda Lovelace was 53 and died from injuries she received in an automobile accident she was involved in on April 3rd in Denver, CO. She was on life-support. Her former husband had it removed; she was brain dead.

The name Linda Lovelace is known throughout the world, despite having only appeared in a few adult films in the early 1970's. Her prominence came from her starring appearance in the 1972 cult classic "Deep Throat". This well-endowed brunette made waves in this groundbreaking movie with her oral exploits with Harry Reems . After her disappearence in the mid 80's Linda re-emerged as an outspoken opponent of the adult film industry. She wrote an autobiography and an anti-porn dissertation in an attempt to reinvent herself and create distant from her past as one of the pioneers of porn.
