Thanks for the directions. I' m not doing an original ( I removed the 351c because I was told the 302 pushed more horse) I am trying to get the car to run smoothly, period. The carb is a reman. motorcraft 2 barrel. I have a big plate under the carb with an outlet connected to the valve cover. The problem is the carb has 4 other ports on it. One line on the bottom of the carb is connected to the choke system right above it. Is that correct? The car also has a big canister with 2 ports on the fender well. Is that needed? there are 3 lines coming off a port in the back of the manifold are these the timed vacume lines you spoke of or should I just plug them. Lastly, I think the 302 is from the late 70's. Thanks again.
