Default X-Pipe loudness?

Hello,

I was going to get the Pro-Chamber...actually had it ordered, but no more. My friend has a 98 GT 5sp and he has an H-pipe. It sounds awesome and badass. However, I don't want my car that loud going around town.

I don't want it much louder than where it is now at the idle to 2500 RPM range...above that range I don't really care how loud it is . I heard the X-pipe wasn't that loud until you get up there in the RPMs. Is this true?

I like the h-pipe's sounds, but it is just too much for me !

Thanks,
DoranW
