It costs around $200 labor. My GT cost $550 to have 4:10's installed with the price of build and a bearing kit. You might as well have the gears changed while you're in their. Here's what it will cost new-$350 posi, $100 bearing kit, $180 gears, $200 labor, $20 dollars posi anti seize= $850 w/o tax. MAKE SURE IT IS AN 8.8 REAREND! If I were you I'd find one used. I see you live in Stockton. Do they have the recycler classifieds there? Tons of hipo parts used including many 8.8 rears. You can find the recycler in liquor stores and gas stations.
