LOL, congrats to the trained eyes The Deuce and scott93gt. That is a 1978 Mustang II in the background. It is my dad's car, as these pics were taken at my parents house. The Mustang II has actually won car shows best of class trophies before my dad purchased it a couple years ago. He's looking to fix it up more again, but parts are really hard to find for the II. His is powered by a 2.8L solid lifter OHV V-6, and it has the 4spd manual. We think it may have been fudged with, but according to the previous owner the mileage is correct with about 80k original on it. My first car was a 1977 Mustang II fastback. 302 V8 and a C4 auto were in the driveline. It had the brushed alumium instrament panel, deluxe interior, basically it was a pretty neat first car. Of course, it was cannibalized before being sent to the junkyard. The gauge cluster was modified to fit in my dad's 82 Mercury Capri RS, along with the tranny being used in a 1979 Mercury Zepher and now in the Capri, which is powered by a severely choked 1989 GT engine instead of the original 3.3L inline 6. By the way, my dad used the original 3.3L K member (don't ask). By severely choked I mean stock 1979 302 2bbl, and 1981 4.2L intake manifold, stock '79 exhaust manifolds and single exhaust. It was slightly de-tuned years ago to keep my little bro from getting into trouble with it. LOL.

As for the 1987 GT, it's going to get sold, but I have to fix it up a little first.
