I'm on the defensive here. My 87GT just pulled my 01 GT hard, BOTH being 5spds. With the right driver, freebies can get a SD fox GT into the 13's. In my case, I really take it personal because I HAVE raced the new GT (mine vs mine), and I HAVE beaten the LS-1's 3 seperate times. I'm not insulting your car, I have the 02 GT in the garage while the 87 gets hailed on, LOL.

By the way, how is the Cobra? Get any word back from the body shop?

Yeah, you will get no argument from me that the Cobra has way more potential NA than my GT. It's a stick, and it's got a much better base in the 5.0 with heads/intake. I definitely see the cobra being high 12's NA easily (gears, cam, computer) whereas the GT will likely see low 13's at best NA. Also, it's not that I dont believe that you beat the LS1's, it's more that I just want you to realize that these cars are no joke, and that some are pulling insane #'s stock.
I have only lost to one LS1 by the way and he didn't pull me hard at all, 2 cars to 100 and that was before my gears, chip, intake. They're not invincible in all cases, but they are definitely not to be taken lightly.

And yes, the cobra is in storage till it goes into the shop on May 14th.
