Not that I know of, but '66 Mustangs aren't my specialty, either. Does it have a tranny in it, or do you already know it's not original (I recall the engine being a '69, but I don't remember what you said about the trans. I can ID the trans by the info on it's tag, and tell you if it could have been original, but without the door tag or a transmission tag, I don't know how to tell what it had.

I have been told that the majority of the manuals were 4 speeds, and of the two types of 4 speeds, the Warner was more likely.

I can also tell you that if it came with a C4, the ONLY tag ID it could have had was PCW-H.

Does the warranty number on the door plate not match the VIN?
