 |  Your Cobra has a much higher compression ratio which creates more heat and will make lower octane fuel flash earlier or pre-ignite. I'm sure if it was 9:1 instead of 9.85:1 it would be a different story. Hell, I would have my car tuned on C-16 if I thought  I wouldn't go through a 55 gal. drum every 2 weeks @ over $300 a barrel. I have seen cars tuned on pump gas make 490 rwhp and then switched to C-16 on the dynoand a new tune and make over 150 rwhp more. I guess 22-23 points makes a huge difference.
