I was kinda confused too, but if you are asking if it's okay to use flat lifters with a roller cam, the answer is no.

BTW, I lived in Perth for a little while back in 1986 (I think, maybe '85). Actually, I lived in Cloverdale, but you get the idea. I worked at Bunnings. Great place, Perth! Loved it there!
