Thanks for your support and wishes of good will, everyone. I know I haven't really been a "contributor" to MW, but I've always felt that despite the occasional flames, this is one of the friendliest and most helpful 'Stang sites around. I can only imagine what sort of response I'd get on the Corrall.
I was supposed to check in with the garage today, but that fell through, so now I'm not sure when I'll get to see her. There WILL be pictures posted; not to shock anyone, but rather as a testament to the sturdiness of the Fox platform. Yes, Danielle was petite, but she took a bullet for me. The veteran trooper on scene (19 1/2 years with MSP) said he was shocked I survived. The rookie that arrived couldn't believe I was the driver. He thought I was riding with the first trooper.
Unfortunately, it's likely I won't be getting another Mustang for at least 4-5 years. I had always felt sort of bad that I was keeping a "rare" car out of circulation, when I really did nothing to modify it. She would have made a killer bracket racer.
So now it looks like I'll just be getting some cheap transportation. If any of you MA folks see a kid in a white Crown Vic giving you a thumbs up, toss me a rev. I need my weekly 'Stang fix.
