I bought all of my emblems, door handles, and carpet from Mustangs Unlimited in Connecticut, my taillights from Triple S Auto Parts (Online), headlights from Wal-Mart, and decals from Phoenix Graphics in Phoenix Arizona. Boy does all of that little stuff add up! That 4k-7k price tag on the paint sounds about right. Mine was 5K and that was with me pulling the WHOLE car apart and putting it back together. All in all it took about a year! (I don't know how I survived it). For that price, it was sanded to bare metal and the engine compartment was sandblasted along with some rot in the roof (around the sunroof). It was then coated with PPG's Urethane Primer, Paint, and Clearcoat, before a final wet sanding and buffing. I'm truly happy with the way it came out although I was nervous as hell putting it back together! Please e-mail me some pic's of your mustang as well. I'd love to see them.
