Exclamation quick way to tell

I was told this by a racer at fun ford in gainsville that run close to 800 HP nos. If the pump can keep at least 6 psi to the fuel side on the plate, while wide open spraying fuel, and filling the carb, you're good. If not, dont chance it. He suggested like a B&G 210. I have a holley blue and installed a 175 plate(not in use yet) and am in the same boat. Oh, and use 2 regulators. just tee into fuel line under first.
