Unit 5302
Number one, make sure you are comparing apples to apples turbo. Meaning, a Mustang Dyno and Dynojet will give you two different numbers. Mustang Dyno's will give lower and from what I hear, more realistic numbers.
My sister's neighbor introduced me to Swanson and dynoed his stock 00GT at 221rwhp. Dyno's aren't always the same on all cars. Arguing about dyno numbers is stupid anyway. It's just numbers on a piece of paper. I too like track numbers as a true measure.
I apologize for going off topic a bit. 5302 reminds of some people that I run into at airshows. You see, I am a Navy pilot and sometimes I go to airshows and stand in front of my ugly airplane. Every once in a while, you get a person who is civilian pilot or geek who reads a bit to much of Janes who argues every point with you. They think they know it all but have no real world experience. Granted, I am not an expert at sc's and mustangs but I speak from some experience and not just what I read from a website. Anyway, my absolute favorite was when a little boy came up to my aircrew and myself at an airshow in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and asked what our airplane did. We told him it's carrier logistics, a cargo aircraft based on an aircraft carrier. He leaves and comes back in just a minute with his father who rather bluntly tells me he doesn't appreciate me lying to his son. I ask what he is talking about. He says there is no way this is a carrier aircraft because he hasn't seen it on JAG
No kidding, true story. No amount of arguing with him would change his mind.
5302, when you get a supercharger and some experience tuning your car and running it at the track I would take what you say to heart. Yet seeing that you only know what you read from Vortech or ATI's website, I really don't see that you have anything to offer, just like the guy who just knew my airplane wasn't a carrier plane because it wasn't on JAG. However, I think I will bow out of this arguement since even though I have a supercharged car, dynoed at one of the best in the country, I have no idea what I am talking about. I only wish I could have the knowledge of 5302 and a stock car to boot.
