If you wanted to convert to airbags it would be more trouble then its worth. Not only would you have to find and install a steering coulumn from a 90 or up stang, you would have to get all of the sensors and wiring harnesses for the airbag. You will also lose the tilt steering wheel. Just save some money and headaches and buy a 90 - 93 stang.

I think the airbag steering wheels look a lot better then the pre 90's cars, by the way
