Default Pics of the 88 in progress

Well I'm now in the process of putting the whole car together to make everything fit, so's I can take it all back apart and paint it.

The spindles were a major pain!! I thought the only difference between 4 cyl. and V8 spindles would be the caliper mounting brackets. (which I didnt need anyway 'cause of the Aerospace brakes) Turns out there are lots of other differences I didnt plan on, so I have some V8 spindles coming. I spent over 6 hours on my 4cyls. milling the caliper mounts, grinding for the extended struts, sandblasting, and powdercoating. Sucks they will be going in the garbage... hehehe

Next up is to get the car rolling so I can go finish the cage. I decided to add an 'X' from the main hoop to the upper torque boxes.

After that I am going to have the cage powdercoated. The place that does my stuff has a 17ft. long oven to bake it in! I will try to get pics of that process!

Andy
