The SVO's were 5 lug. Used the same axles, >11" vented disks & 58mm calipers as the 84 lincoln continental and the mark vii's. The axles are 1.25" longer than the stock fox.
If you use the 17x8", 5.72" BS 98/99 cobra wheels, they'll stick out 0.2" farther than SN95 axles with 17x9", 6.42" BS cobra R's. I think it should fit (maybe mild fender rolling), and I'll probably try it. Lots of them in the wreckers, cheap, and 3.27 gears. All the 86+ should have traction lock.
THe SN95 axles are only 0.75" longer, use solid disks, and 38mm calipers... or you can use the cobra brake upgrade.
The T-bird turbo coupes (same as 93 cobra) had 4 lug axles which were 0.75" longer. 3.55's in the std, 3.73's in the auto. Great upgrade if your sticking with 4 lug.
You'll need a new master cylinder, and should get an adjustable brake proportioning valve too.
