and the remanufactured engines we order are garbage. they dont last long and put together crappy. know that doesnt mean that the one that your friend is getting is that quality but thats my expreience with remand engines that is also only autozone. i dont know if ford or were ever the engine is coming from is remand from the same company! hope that helps a little. make sure he gets a warranty on the engine and also finds out what voids that warranty.
