Default I'm new, and I have a question

Let's see, how can I make this sound like an addictions meeting?

I know: "Hi, I'm Steve, and I'm addicted to Mustangs and horsepower"

I've got an '83 GT that's still mostly stock other than my exhaust (Hedman equal length shortie hedders, Dynomax UltraFlo welded mufflers, 2 1/2" mandrel bent tubing all exiting out of 3" chrome tips). Anyway, my question is this:

This fall/winter I'm planning on porting my heads, and picking up a new carb. Now, I figure that while I'm at it, I might as well grab a new intake as well, so I thought I'd start on some homework.

I know that I wanna go with a dual plane intake, and the intake that's got my eye at the moment, after looking through a few catalogs and websites, is the Edelbrock RPM Air Gap. Seeing as how I've got the catalog in front of me right now, I can see their opinion of it, and I can also read about what it'll do for me. But I was wondering if anyone else has any opinions of this thing, or hell, I'll take opinions of any other dual plane intake as well. C'mon! Lay 'em on me.
