If you do any cool weather driving, ~12C or less then you should get the RPM not the air gap. The air gap can cause the fuel to puddle and make the car run poorly. I think the air gap isn't worth the extra coin personally and I believe the differences in power would be less on a milder motor. I've got the RPM intake and I love it, if you need the newest gimmick then the air gap is it.
