I started doing this some 2.5 years ago and I have never been able to prove it actually does anything. Here in Florida humidity get's pretty bad so there are nights when it really hurts ET. What I've noticed is that on a night where the air is fairly dry or cool I pick up a few hundreths. On warm nights it slows me down a few hundreths. This past weekend in Virgina where I ran my new best it was done with the headlight in.

Tonight at Moroso (if the rain stays away) I think it's slicks only night which means I'll get plenty of runs in I'll see about doing a before and after comparison in the same lane under the same conditions.
