I was bored....so I looked up yesterday afternoon's preliminary weather conditions for San Diego (couldn't find Carlsbad), track altitude, estimated the relative humidity, and plugged the numbers into a density altitude calculator.

Altitude (track) = 200ft
Temperature = 72*F
Barometric Pressure = 29.86 inHg
Relative Humidity = 75% (est.)
Density Altitude Calculator

DA = +1422 ft.

Hopefully, the values I used were close to the actual numbers. I like to use the calculator as a rough estimate to determine if the air is good or not.
