Yeah, what he said. Mr. 5.0 is on the money as usual, and I'm just writing this to give you an opinion from more than one person for your peace of mind.

Driving an AOD is slower but easier to launch BY FAR! A T-5 is more fun to drive and can net you much quicker times IF you can launch and shift well. It'll take a lot of practice to perfect it for your car, but practice makes perfect. My suggestion would be to not powershift it until you feel more comfortable with the new tranny.
