If money is a major concern, try checking out some of Trick Flows intakes. They flow just as well if not better than the Edelbrocks but cost a little less.

With your combo, I would expect a better intake to put you in the 11s.

5.0 Mustang and Super Fords just did an intake dyno comparison and they were picking up 15+ hp with the one of the Trick Flow intakes over the Cobra. Plus you'll successfully move your powerband up a few hundred rpms. Your combo will like that.

Do your heads have the 1.9 or 2.02 intake valves?
