...i dont think it was a dealer option cuz i see them like this at al the ford dealerships around here and down the road...i believe they started putting that fake hood scoop on in 02...might have been 01, but i dont think so....id like to make it functional someday
...i think it makes it look better honestly, a better distinguishing characteristic than the dual exhaust from the V6s....you can buy the plastic scoop for under $100 and bolt it on...many places online sell em...dunno if youd really wanna put a plastic one on there as aftermarket tho..lol
