Just thought I'd let everyone who cares know that we have found a engine.
It's an '84 302 long block from an '84 lincoln town car. Afriend actually found it for us and got us a deal. It'll be $650. It was impounded for a DUI and they just couldn't pay to fees to get it out. Our friend drove it and he said it ran great. But once he gets it out, he's going to test it. I still want a new one, or at least re-built.
I get the feeling something bad is ganna happen.
I'm on the phone w/ AAA right now getting a truck to go pick it up.
