I haven't had my doors blown off this bad in a long time!
Pulled up next to a beautiful black Chevelle SS last night after leaving the car show. It had 396 badges on the side and sat just right. This was one of the nicest looking Chevelles I've seen in a while.
As I pulled up next to him, I was thinking I'd give the old 396 a hand-ful. I noticed his 6-7 year old daughter was sitting shooter. Game off. Until he downshifted into first at 25 mph and absolutely lit up the tires! This thing was mean. We started talking a little and threw some compliments around. Then he procedes to tell me he runs 11.7s and has a 478 big block under the hood.
A 478 big block. WTF!
We went from a roll and it wasn't even fair. Very cool car.
