The MAC Pro Dumps I have rumble real loud from idle to 1500 RPMs, then they quiet down. I don't mind this since I do a lot of driving at 60 MPH (around 2000 RPM)this summer, and the drone of an open h-pipe was getting old on a 2 hour round trip commute. They do start to get loud again at around 2500 RPMs.
Under hard throttle, the MACs are a little quieter than 2 chamber flows, but are definitely louder and a hell of a lot better sounding than my old 3 chamber flows.
I like them, but I also like 2 chambers, so it comes down to a personal decision. If I were you, I would listen to different sound clips of the two and go from there.
And one more thing on a quality note. The Pro Dumps looked fantastic and very well made. I was impressed. I think they almost have a powdercoated finish on them or something. My MAC aluminized h-pipe doesn't have that coating and came to me very dirty(inside and out). I was not impressed by it, but it was just a $110 h-pipe. I really wanted a BBK unit, but couldn't afford it.
