Im not sure why but my mustang isnt the friendliest cluthless shifter.
My old 94 Integra did it pretty well, and my girlfriends 97 eclipse is a brease, I can drive it around with no clutch almost as easily as with a clutch.
Heres a trick, when you pull it out of gear and are going to shift into the next gear, hold the shifter so its pushing on going into the next gear, but hasnt fallen in yet, and give the throttle a blip to throw the revs up. As the revs start falling down and match up to the right speed the trans will slip into gear, given that your still holding pressure on it.
Works great for me.
