I know exactly how you feel bro. I was thinking of selling my 89 and I really really hate to do it. I've had this car since 91 and I was 22yo, a big part of my youth. I mentioned it to my dad and I could see the disappointment in his face, he still misses his 68 Cougar XR7. He asked what I wanted for it. I told him I could part it out and get $9k maybe 10 and he looks at mom and says "you always wanted a convertible". I don't think he wants me to get rid of the car, I'd love to sell it to him. Mom thinks its too much for her, it is. Maybe I can take the blower off and do a few things to make it more streetable for them to drive. If I can sell it to him for $7500 with the condition that I have first opt if he ever sells it, then that would work for me and I could still play with it some.

Selling a part of the family isn't easy, I know. I hope it works out for you and if I was in the market... I'd definitely be interested.
