RBatson: Yeah I love this Ruger. I'm a Ruger fan and my dad likes the smith revolvers. (Has the .22, .38/.357, and the .44 mag hand cannon. Looks like the gun off Who Killed Roger Rabbit. heh) The pistol that has grabbed my attention lately though it the new Walther. that is a sweet pistol. I know what your saying about theft though. I used to have a 1917 Swedish Mauser I had refinished. Loved that rifle. It was so accurate. Also my first Norinko .22 rifle and a Smith competition grade .22 semi-auto pistol that were all stolen along with EVERYTHING else in my house when I went to D.C. on vacation.
Crazy Horse: Never had any problems outta the AR-15. It doesn't have the feed assist like the service M-16 (or the auto feature dammit ) but my dad and I would put more rounds through that than any other gun we had. Between the 2 of us we only had about 35 firearms. Mostly service rifles of all eras from all around the world. I thought the AR was a fine firearm.
